New Golf Community at Tahoe

Johnny Miller was on hand recently to launch his newest course design, a stunner of a mountain track, the showpiece of Timilick, a new private community in the Martis Valley a few minutes from Lake Tahoe. His co-designer was John Hardbottle, a Pete Dye alum who is making himself famous with such notable projects as the Yellowstone Club. Masses of mature evergreens line fairways laid out in meadows and on hillsides menaced by rocky outcroppings; a luxurious, lodge-style clubhouse is underway.
